SMALL BUSINESSES:

Small businesses account for more than 90 percent of people employed in Maine. For us to put people to work we need to create a positive business climate that rewards entrepreneurs rather than punishing them. Small businesses find themselves often at the mercy of these large companies that are able to employ lobbyists to represent their interests. If elected I pledge to fight any small business taxes and regulations that make it hard for small businesses to prosper.
